Welcome the Prophecy-Timeline Bible study site (www.theprophecytimeline.com).
If you are new to the study of Bible prophecy, this site will help lead through many aspects of Bible prophecy.
When you launch the interactive Prophecy Study Guide, you will see the spinning earth with a blue pointer dial. You can click and drag the pointer to point to one of 11 topic areas. Many of these topic areas are broken into parts to make it a bit easier to break your study into shorter periods.
Each prophecy topic part has a scale in which to track your progress through the study. To manually go through a Bible prophecy study, you simply click and drag the scale roundel, (or arrow on the Prophecy Timeline), to the next marker.
There is also a method for having each study play automatically for you. Click the “Auto-Play On/Off” button. The study will play similar to a video. Selecting the “Auto-Play On/Off” button disables the tracking scale.
The study begins laying the foundation by providing proof of the accuracy of past Bible prophecy. The “Past Proofs of Accurate Biblical Prophecy” is broken into two parts.
Other Bible Prophecy topics include:
The “Prophecy Timeline” is a summation of major prophecies that are yet to occur, put into a chronology. This is in one part, and is quite long.
The Prophecy Study Guide ends with “Are You Ready,” a guide through the gospel of Jesus Christ, and what you can do to be ready for when the final prophecies are set to occur. This is in one part.
How can a person have confidence in the prophecies in the Bible? Look at the prophecies of the past, and realize that these prophecies were either fulfilled exactly as written, or are yet to be fulfilled.
The most significant prophecies of the past are those about the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This overview covers prophecies by six authors, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The Bible has many prophecies noting nations and peoples that interact with the nation of Israel. The names of these nations and peoples are identified by the names used in Biblical times. Equating these to the modern era is not difficult but the boundaries are inexact..
While many modern countries can be identified in prophecies yet to be fulfilled, there are many countries that have no prophecies related to them specifically. The United States (U.S.) is one of these.
The primary focus of the Bible is of Israel and the Jewish people. Most key prophecies involve events dealing with Israel, and Israel and the Jews determine end-of-days timing.
The Bible does not deal with specific existing religions, but it does offer insight into the spiritual conditions in the last days.
The Bible tells of some traits that will be seen in the last days before Jesus returns. While these traits have been with mankind for thousands of years, these traits will be widespread, and very prominent, more of a way of life, and not a rare occurrence.
The Bible prophesied many of the conditions we see and are living through today. While these conditions have always existed, these are now prominent.
The Bible describes many changes coming to the earth. God will expose the arrogance of mankind, and show how He controls the entire universe.
The Bible does not name the technology of the last days, but it does describe conditions that require that certain technologies exist for them to occur.
While many Biblical prophecies have already occurred, many are still yet to happen. This is not a complete list, but a list of major events that will occur.
This is a summation of major prophecies that are yet to occur, put into a chronology.
